Roy W. Coffin, age 83, of Rising City, Nebraska, passed away January 31, 2012 at his home in Rising City.
Memorial services were held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Osceola, Nebraska with Pastor Glen Hubbard officiating. Inurnment will be a private family service in the Circle Mound Cemetery in Rising City at a later date. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg had been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Donna of Rising City; children David Coffin of Osceola, Beth Vos of Homer and Doug (Lori) Coffin of Stromsburg, Cathy Russell of Mesquete, TX; seven grandchildren; one sister Jerry McKown and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Rose; daughter-in-law Glenda F. Coffin; brother Leonard Coffin and brother-in-law Joe McKown.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
