Orpha “Dee” (Baker) Mitchell, age 64, of Lincoln, NE, passed away at her home on Monday, May 26, 2008. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Faith Bible Church in Lincoln with Pastor Tom Rempel officiating. Burial was in Cheney Cemetery in Lincoln.
Family members include her husband Roy, sons Douglas (Lena) Mitchell and Ian of Lincoln; one daughter Jessica of Los Angeles, CA; sister Pat Spelts of Omaha; brothers Donald (Clarice) Baker and Mervin (Barb) Twarling; brother-in-law Charlie Mitchell of Long Island, NY; and sister-in-law Corinne Baker of Stromsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Arleen, and brothers Robert and Laverne.
