Joe Edward Marsden, age 80, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away January 31, 2012 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stromsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Burke officiating. Interment will be in the Swede Plain Cemetery near Polk, Nebraska. Dubas Funeral Home of Stromsburg and Osceola has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include sons Jay and wife Kris Marsden of St. Charles, MO, Ronal and wife DeAnna Marsden of Stromsburg and Roger and wife Lorri Marsden of Stromsburg; seven grandchildren Katrinna Marsden, Angela Bardwell, Joshua Marsden, Justin Marsden, Niclaus Marsden Kjell Marsden and Channer Marsden; four great grandchildren Jaxen Marsden, Kai-Noa Marsden, Ryder Marsden and Brody Marsden; one sister Marge Hartman of Lincoln; one brother Lyle and wife Marcy Marsden of Lincoln; one sister-in-law Ardythe Gronlund of Stromsburg and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife RaeJeanne who passed away March 13, 2010; his parents James and Ruth; one brother Lester and two sisters and husbands Irene and Malcolm Avery, Maxine and Mitch Mitchel and one brother-in-law Harold Hartman.
Memorials are suggested to the family.
