Joan Marie Bock

Joan Marie Bock, age 79, of Shelby, Nebraska, passed away August 3, 2010 at St. Joseph's Villa in David City, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 6 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby with Father John Rooney officiating. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg had been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include two sons Mike (Kathy) Bock of Columbus and Jerry Bock of Omaha; two daughters Patty (Randy) Kelly of Shelby and Marsha (Mark) Newcomer of Stromsburg; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two brothers Milton (Patsy) Kobza of David City and LeRoy Kobza of Duncan; two sisters Carmelita Malone of Omaha and Marie (Jim) Geiger of Austin, TX; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Marie Kobza; brother Daniel Kobza; sister Ramona Abbott; grandson Blake Kelly and niece Cheryl Kobza.
