Herman M. Becker, age 79, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away February 8, 2010 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Osceola with Father James Cooper officiating. Visitation was Thursday, February 11 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. Interment was in the Osceola Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg was been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Alice Becker of Osceola; children Steve (Connie) Becker of Nelson, Linda (Ben) Torres of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota and Al (Maxine) Becker of Columbus; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four brothers Lawrence (DeAnna) Becker of Plainville, KS, Edward (Sandy) Becker of Hays, KS, Ray Becker of Russell, KS and John (Lilian) Becker of Russell, KS; one sister Lucy (Dan) William of Osborne, KS; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Luise Becker; brother Adolph and sister-in-law Eloise Becker; one great grandson Vincent McPhillips; and sister-in-law Gloria Becker.
