Harold “Butch” Larsen, 62, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Friday, June 26, 2009, at the Golden Living Center of Columbus from complications of diabetes.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 10:30 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Fr. Tom Weisbecker officiating. Interment was in the All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
Butch is survived by his wife Dorothy Larsen of Columbus; son Eric (Marcia) Larsen of Harker Heights, TX and grandchildren Emma Joan and Kate Elisabeth Larsen; son Harold “Matthew” (Lindsey) Larsen of Killeen, TX; daughter Stephanie (Coy) Guenther of Marble Falls, TX and grandchildren Peyton and Piper Guenther; daughter Dorothy “Christina” (Fiancé Aaron Wilson) of Wayne and grandchild Jaedin Katherine Wilson; daughter Abigail Larsen of Columbus; sisters Connie (Bud) Sweet of Lincoln and Claudia (Fred) Addison of St. Petersburg, FL; brother Lonnie (Lynette) Larsen of Elm Creek; father-in-law Emil Czarnick of Genoa; many nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Alwine Larsen, sister and brother-in-law Marilyn (Ron) Novicki, brother Larry Larsen, niece Kristie Addison, and mother-in-law Dorothy Czarnick.
