E. Lee Adams, age 77, of Lincoln, NE, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Lincoln. He was born on October 7, 1930 at Clarinda, IA to Maxine Gestrine.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Steen Adams of Lincoln; sons, Greg (Julie) Adams of York and Scott Adams of Jupiter, Fl; stepchildren, Chris (Michelle) Jacobson of Omaha, NE, Craig (Stephanie) Jacobson of Omaha, and Maralee (Charles) Sobotka of Lincoln. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Breann (Andrew) Sims of Omaha, Michelle Adams of Charlotte, NC, Ashley (Samuel) Mhyre of Lincoln, Sara Adams of Greeley, CO, Jon Damkroger of Firth, NE, Bailee and Madison Sobotka of Lincoln, Georgia Jacobson and Logan Jacobson of Omaha; and a step-sister Peggy Gustafson of Wakefield, NE.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorials services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2008 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Memorials may be directed to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Metz Mortuary, York, NE was in charge of arrangements.
