Duane (Dewey) Lee Hablitzel, age 53, of Lincoln, Nebraska (formerly of Stromsburg) passed away May 16th, 2010 at Homestead Healthcare in Lincoln.
A graveside service at the Stromsburg Cemetery will be held Saturday July 10th, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bob Johnson officiating.
There will be a lunch and visitation with the family at 3:00 pm at the Stromsburg Senior Center.
Survivors include his two sons, Jake and Jessie, both of Lincoln; parents Doris Doak (companion Jim Sanders) of Onawa, Iowa, Marvin (Connie) Hablitzel of Bozeman, Montana; sisters Jeannette (Richard) Rieken of Clarks, Kris (Rob) Girardin of Columbus, Terri (Don) Kostal of Odell; brother Mark of Bozeman, Montana, step-brother Shannon (Ann) Rupp of Lincoln, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, step-father Marion Doak, step-sister Crystal Rupp, and friend Mark Johnson.
A memorial fund has been established at The Bank of Clarks, P.O. Box 125, Clarks, NE 68628.
