Douglas H. Peterson, age 53, of Denver, Colorado, passed away February 8, 2012 at the Swedish Hospital in Engelwood, Colorado.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Osceola with Pastor Robert Perry officiating. Visitiation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be a private family service at the Shelby Cemetery at a later date. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his mother Marlene Peterson of Shelby; brothers and sisters Steven Peterson of Osceola, Brenda (Glenn) Lemburg of Osceola, Terry Peterson of Columbus, Melinda (Troy) Reinke of Lincoln and Kevin (Connie) Peterson of Lincoln; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Peterson, grandparents Morris and Marjorie Richards, Rex and Ruth Peterson, Genevieve Peterson, Harland and Helen Fusby; nephew Preston Peterson and cousin Jason Schmoker.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal… love leaves a memory no one can steal.
