Betty Lucille Tejeda, age 78, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away January 8, 2012 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
Memorial services were held Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the East Hill Church of Christ in York, Nebraska, with Mark McLean officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Dubas Funeral Home of Stromsburg and Osceola had been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include her husband Edward of Stromsburg; daughter Tonimarie (Randy) Damme of Columbus; grandchildren Natalie Tejeda of San Antonio, TX, Robert Tejeda of southern California, Crystal Northey of Columbus, Jonathan Anderson of Kearney and Michael Anderson of Columbus; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son Edward James Tejeda, who passed away in 1996; her parents Paul and Alberta Fisher; and one brother Paul Fisher.
