The American Red Cross held a Blood Drive last Friday, July 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Stromsburg.
According to Timm Waller, blood drive chairman, forty-five donors were present to give the gift of life.
Pat Reisdorff of Osceola received special recognition as she was presented with her 15 gallon pin.
Other 'gallon donors' receiving pins at the blood drive were:
Norman Larson - 13 gallons
Gerald Bryan - 9 gallons
Sue Lehn - 6 gallons
Judy Rieken - 6 gallons.
Kip Riley was the only first time donor.
The need for blood is constant, and the gratification is instant. Please continue to give blood regularly.
