Carita Willits, Gavin Coffin, Dan Cramer and Jenn Werth will be presenting this area's finest Christian entertainment to help raise awareness and funding for poverty stricken Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday, February 4th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola.
For 10 days, a small group of Christian men and women for the past five years have traveled to Greenville to bring hope and relief to poverty stricken families. We have joined two other groups from Minnesota and South Dakota. The families worked with us as we remodel their homes that are in crisis condition.
The homes often receive new windows, siding, flooring, shingles, plumbing and wiring. Other things they  may need would be cabinets, painting and entrance doors. This requires a huge time commitment by those going to Mississippi, prayer warriors back home, and a financial commitment of approximately $20,000.
This mission is a nondenominational effort. Everyone is welcome to join us. The only requirement is that you love Jesus Christ and are willing to be His hands and feet. Please come and learn how you can help. A DVD will be shown of last year's home restoration projects.
On February 4, 2012 following the free Lutheran Men's soup and pie supper, Carita will bless us by performing a piano recital. Her musical talent is truly a gift from God and worthy of our attendance. Gavin Coffin and Dan Cramer, along with Jenn Werth will perform some of their own original songs and some favorite hymns.
The night will begin at 5:30 with soup and pie, with the musical concerts starting at 6:30. Please support these four musicians with your attendance. Please support the mission trip to Mississippi witih your financial gifts.
If you have any questions feel free to call Bill Peterson at 402-340-3836. If you are unable to attend and wish to financially contribute, please send check payable to Mississippi Mission Fund at 830 N. Nance Street, Osceola, NE 68651.
