In the match up on Tuesday night the Lady Cougars went to face the Dorchester Longhorns. Both teams came out evenly matched in the first half neither team being able to declare the lead. The first quarter was eight points apiece. The Cougars were playing nonchalant and letting the Dorchester Longhorns hang tight with them. At the end of the first half the score was 21-19 Cougars held the lead. The Cougars picked up the pace in the second half and increased the lead to 7 points going into the fourth quarter it was 34-27. The last quarter was the one that established a Cougar’s win. Cross County came out in the fourth quarter and scored 19 points to Dorchester’s 6 with a final score of 53-33.
Both in double digits for the Cougars was Larson and Waller with 14 a piece.
