Margaret Oglesby Shaw Stevens, 84, of Aurora, CO, died December 30, 2006 at the Hospice of Metro Denver Care Center.

She was preceded in death by husbands Wendell G. Shaw in November 1969, and Raymond R. Stevens in February 2004; in addition to brothers Rollie, Lloyd, and JC Oglesby; sisters Lola Mae Oglesby and Bertha Smith; and great-grandson Alex Simpson.

She is survived by her children Bonnie Meerkatz of Loveland, CO, Dewain Shaw of Ft. Lupton, CO, Susie Shaw of Aurora, CO, Dan (Karen) Shaw of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughters Teri (Rich) Babcock of Estes Park, CO and Sue (Steve) Cummings of Thornton, CO; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Lucille Hutsell Foote of Medford, OR; sisters-in-law Freddie Oglesby, Marjorie Ehlers and Faye Stevens of York, Gwen (Jim) Lindberg, Carol Stevens and LaVerne Stevens, all of Polk; brother-in-law Harold "Bud" (Lila) Shaw of Lincoln; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at Arbor Drive Community Church in York.

Contributions may be made to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Aurora, CO in care of Susan Shaw, 19040 East 22nd Place, Aurora, CO 80011. Metz Mortuary in York was in charge of arrangements.
