Lady Huskies take second in holiday tourney

The Shelby Lady Huskies hosted their annual holiday tournament on Dec. 28 & 29 and came away with a second place finish. In their opening round, the Lady Huskies downed Palmer 49-24. They would then fall to Prague in the championship game on Friday, 60-23.
Schmidt led the scoring both nights with 19 and 8 points, respectively. Vrbka followed with 9 against Palmer and 5 against Prague.
The Lady Huskies are now 2-6 on the season.
