Bulldogs suffer 1st loss of season

The Osceola Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season, as they fell in the finals of the Osceola Holiday Tournament to St. Ed, 45-37. To get to the finals, they defeated Nebraska Christian in the opening round 44-26. St. Ed used a big third quarter to open up a lead, and then held off the Bulldogs.
Landon Hayes led in scoring with 13 and 18 points, respectively in the tournament. Tonniges added 7 points in the NC game and 2 against St. Ed. Seth Peterson scored 9 in the finals game.
The Bulldogs now stand at 7-1 and will host Cross County Friday, January 5.
